Mean people

Alright, we're going to start off with skunks, move to 'coons, go to Canadians and then end with art.
The skunk thing.
When you take your pets out, you want to do what you went out for. If you have a pretty dog, an exotic bird, or a native wild animal as a pet, you're going to get stopped and asked questions, and that's something you have to live with if you choose to take that pet out.
But just because you decide to bond with your pet doesn't give the people the green light to be total jerks. Why do people insist that Mohz and Thundyr have rabies? Why do they insist that a skunk smells until they're fixed? Why are their claws sharp - when everyone knows a skunk is not a fighter.
And why do people freak out when they see her? Would I being her out if I thought she'd spray? Yes, she is descented, but not all domestic skunks are. If I trusted my skunk enough to not to spray, yea, I'd still take her out.
Next - Raccoons.
THEY DO NOT GET MEAN AS THEY GET OLDER!
Okay?
Get it, got it, good!
If you don't treat them right, like ANY ANIMAL, sure, they will get nasty. But don't think just because they are wild animals that they get mean. M'kay. There is a ten year old 'coon who is the sweetest little man. End. Of. Story.
Canada.
I love Canada. Don't get me wrong, the accents are awesome, and who doesn't love pancakes?
My sister was hit by a tractor trailer the other day. It was an accident, no one was hurt, blahblah. Well, her car is in the repair and we need the company's insurance to pay for it. The cop put 'other' for the make of the model, and the Canadian insurance people (I don't know what agency, sorry) and she refused to do anything or even talk to us about it.
Eventually, she ended up saying something to the effect of "Americans can't do anything right".
Yea, okay.
Art.
When you're a photography major, and in a drawing class, you're not going to be the best artist there. I don't think I'm a horrible artist, but when I comment on other people's art, I always try to point out their strong points, and then nicely say a fault they could improve on. I hope I don't across as rude when I comment on art, but I'm so tired of the other students ripping my art apart.
I mean, I don't intent on being rude here, but I've seen people in the class with much worse stuff, and everyone is nice to them. And yet a select few people who put a lot of effort in the class get their work picked on.
Alright, I'm finished with this rant, I suppose.
Maybe if I was actually getting a 100 in the class I wouldn't care so much.
I'm sorry I'm not a good artist.
Why am I stuck taking this class if I'm not a good drawer anyway?

My sister's bf bought two female degus, and one was pregnant and just gave birth, so that's why I was telling people about them
Your IRL pika is so cute, though!
I just looked that up on Wikipedia, and now I just want your sister's boyfriend's babies. Degu babies, that is <3
